So there I was, 5:30 in the morning speeding up 75 towards Tampa. On my left the moon was huge and orange. On my right a low mist covered the ground and the sky was turning pastel pinks and purples. In front of me was a pair of rapidly approaching tail lights... EYES ON THE ROAD ADAM! Ok, that was a close one. It's hard to drive and take in scenery at the same time.
It seems like so long ago. Actually, that was just yesterday morning. I am in Kansas City now. I don't start work till next Monday. I have a whole week off to explore the city. Ahhhh, feels good to finally rest... rest..... .............................

Cut on the Action

These were storyboard drawings we did in concept class. I came up with an idea about a Russian soldier and an old eastern-european-type lady. This was based on a story my dad told me about a Russian soldier who once traded an arm full of wound-down watches for one that ticked. I guess he didn't understand how watches worked... anyway, here he is chasing a chicken!

We made this to demonstrate different types of transitions between scenes. In this particular instance the scene transitions from a happy grandma to a miserable soldier. Notice the similar shapes in the shot.

If all the dead blogs in the world could be brought together at one time it would be truly horrifying. Poor blogs, left to wither and die in cyber-wasteland. I'm sure their creators meant well. But things happened. The blogs were forgotten while the too-busy-to-type went off and talked to their friends in real life or something equally lame. How cruel we can be.

This blog used to be among them. Yes, I will admit it, I created it long ago. I had all the best intentions at first but life got busy. What can I say? Well I am back bloggy and I will never leave you again! (Actually, I will probably forget about it by tomorrow and then won't this post sound stupid?)

So hello again far away friends. Stop by every now and then and I might just have something tasty for you to read.
